AI and Tech consulting for Tasmanian Businesses

About Me

My name is Lubertha Humphries, founder of Cradle Logic - a Tasmanian-based AI and technology consulting business.

Known for my optimistic, creative, and open-minded approach to problem-solving, I've been the go-to person for tech-related questions for a long time.

Throughout my career I've worked across a wide range of fields and industries, and in every single role I've seen the same recurring gap: the difference between how people want to use technology and the solution management settles for. Sometimes that gap exists because of budget or time constraints; other times it's simply a lack of technical insight among decision-makers, especially for small- and medium-sized businesses in regional areas like Launceston.

I've set myself the goal of helping close that gap.

Working alongside owner-operators, sole traders, and office managers, my focus is on making technology feel accessible, useful, and trustworthy. I offer practical advice, tailored training, and implementation support that fits your business and your budget — helping you streamline processes, reduce frustration among staff and customers, and reclaim valuable hours in your week.

What is AI?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the ability of software to learn from data, recognise patterns, and automate tasks.

Although AI in recent years returned to everyday conversation - thanks to Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI's ChatGPT, X's Grok, and Microsoft Copilot - it has been around for decades. You may already be using AI without realising it. If your business uses Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), or if you receive personalised recommendations on platforms like Netflix, YouTube, or social media, or use virtual assistants such as Google Assistant, Siri, or Alexa — you're already using AI.

For small businesses, AI isn't about robots; it's about practical tools that save time, reduce mistakes, and free people to focus on what matters most. Without realising it, you might already be paying for tools that can streamline your workflow and optimise your customer service.

AI is already built into many of the tools small businesses use every day. Platforms like Canva can automatically enhance images and suggest layouts, Xero and QuickBooks use AI to categorise expenses, and tools like Grammarly and ChatGPT help polish communication and generate content. Even scheduling apps, email marketing services, and spam filters rely on AI to make smart decisions in the background.

There are automatisation tools that let small business owners connect their everyday apps — like Gmail, Xero, and Google Sheets, and build simple workflows without any coding. These tools aren't technically "AI," but they often go hand-in-hand with AI systems, helping you cut down on repetitive admin and free up time for real work.

What I Can Do For You

A lot of businesses already have the tools they need, but not the time to explore what's possible.

I work alongside small- and medium-sized business owners and managers to uncover small changes with big impact. Saving time, reducing repetitive tasks, researching alternative tools, so you can continue to focus on what matters most.

Whether its steamlining your spreadsheets, writing template emails, designing custom AI prompts or exploring automation options - I will help you get clarity on whats worth improving and how.

  • Help you understand and adopt AI tools that fit your business
  • Offer training and workshops for your team

My focus is always on practical solutions - tools that save you time and money without desturbing workflows.
